The City of Brampton is taking additional health and safety measures against COVID-19. All City facilities including City Hall, Recreation and Community Centres, and Brampton Library branches are CLOSED until further notice.

Bidders are advised that during this period of time, the bidding process will proceed as normal, including submitting questions and bid closings.  As usual, Bidders may submit questions pertaining to a specific bid call to the Purchasing Representative through the Bidding System using the ‘Submit Question’ button. However, some procurement processes could take longer than usual due to city facilities closure.

For general inquiries, vendors may contact Purchasing at purchasing@brampton.ca. Emails will be monitored by Purchasing staff.

CORTM program in 2020

In continuing to build a future-ready organization, Brampton has adopted the Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) program as part of its construction contract management and construction tendering process. This is a reaffirmation of the City’s ongoing commitment to health and safety for contractors, employees and residents.

Phase 1 of the requirement to be CORTM certified was implemented in January 2019 for construction projects over $25M.

Phase 2 of the requirement to be CORTM certified will be implemented starting in January 2020 for construction projects over $10M.
