The   City is inviting proposals from Bidders for the provision of the following independent claims adjusting services including, but not limited to:

i. Adjustment and or negotiation and or investigation and or settlement and or damage assessment of claims against the City on a task assignment basis;

ii. Skilled and knowledgeable staff that are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for services, including but not
  limited to claims reporting, after hours visits to scenes of loss, response to telephone enquiries and after hours emergency response;

iii. Initial reports will be required within 24 business hours, with subsequent reports every 30 or 60 days depending on the specific file activity;

 iv. The adjuster(s) will be expected to assist the City with expediting claims as needed including any research required;

Bidders must be prepared to participate in claims meetings with Risk Management staff on an “as needed” basis to discuss status and strategy for outstanding claims at no additional cost.
