The configurations of the existing public spaces, fitness studio, washrooms and staff spaces located on the basement level at Riverstone Community Centre were deemed not suitable for the planned programming/future use of the facility. As such, a full redesign and renovation of these spaces has been requested by Recreation. The project will include renovations to the existing gym area to create a fitness studio with storage, the addition of a community room for the public to use, a staff room/break area along with a work area for staff, as well as a washroom renovation to add additional stalls and sinks. Anticipated completion date is July, 2025. |
