Description: |
Currently water supplied for the irrigation system at the Peel Village Golf Course is taken directly from the Etobicoke Creek under a Permit to Take Water which was valid until December 31, 2018. The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change has indicated that a new water source will be required for the future irrigation of the course. The Region of Peel has agreed to the use of regional water as the source for the irrigation system. This procurement includes the installation of a water meter and water meter chamber, the installation a water line from the existing fire hydrant to the connect to the existing irrigation system, construction of a pump house to house all the necessary equipment, and the removal of the existing weir, which is a small dam. The site locates at the Peel Village Golf Course at 29 A Hartford Trail, Brampton, Ontario.
