The objective of this Bid call is to invite all eligible General Contractors to bid on a 2,850 sq. ft. interior renovation that is part of the existing Susan Fennell Sportsplex Centre at 500 Ray Lawson Boulevard, Brampton. The Susan Fennell Youth Hub will be a youth-centric space designated in consultation with community organizations and social service agencies that serve Brampton youth. These renovations will allow the City to provide a range of programs and services, but also create the opportunity for integrated public services in support of the community hub model. This Renovation to Existing (2,850 sq.ft.), will provide and open concept, collaborative spaces, special events, culture, and games. It will have a Multi-Purpose Room, a Meeting Room that will provide youth leadership, health care & social services, education, employment & career service. The development of these Community Youth Hubs in Brampton achieves a number of the City of Brampton’s Term of Council Priorities and adheres to the City’s 2040 Vision to create a Healthy and Safe City. Community Youth Hubs in Brampton also support the Region of Peel's Term of Council Priorities by enabling youth to live, thrive and lead within Brampton. Substantial Performance of Work shall be by December 31, 2022 |
