This Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) is an invitation to prospective Architects  for the development of the Brampton Centre for Education, Innovation and Collaboration (BCEIC).

The BCEIC facility will provide a centralized location in the City’s downtown core and in close proximity to the planned Ryerson University campus. In supporting the university campus, as well as providing significant
stimulus at the heart of the city’s Downtown, the design of the facility will provide a positive and engaging user experience both within the building and through its streetscape and urban design. The BCEIC will serve all Brampton
residents as well as university students, providing opportunities for elementary, secondary, post-secondary students to engage with, innovate and collaborate with one another, residents, the business community and industry in
a collaborative setting that promotes experiential learning.

This RFPQ is the first step in the City of Brampton’s process to select a Prime Architectural firm. The intent of the pre-qualification process is to select a short-list of Architects for the Project, based on an established set of evaluation criteria, who will be invited to respond to a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP).
