The City is exploring Hot In-Place Recycling (HIR) as a sustainable technology for road resurfacing on a pilot basis for selected roads in the 2026 road resurfacing program. The roads identified for Hot In-Place Recycling are Walkers Drive (Clark Blvd to Torbram Rd), Advance Boulevard (Strathearn Ave to Dixie Rd), Orenda Road (Bramalea Road to Dixie Rd), Orenda Road (Rutherford Road South to Heart Lake Road South).
