For the prequalification of Security Service Providers for special events on City owned properties and must reserve the right to ensure that all event organizers hosting special events on City properties provide appropriate, adequate professional Event Security Guard services (‘Services”) at the special events. This is in order to provide a visible presence, conduct entry screening, exit/entrance management and manage and contain any security related incidents.

All public and private events that take place on City owned properties may be hosted and/or coordinated by the City of Brampton (‘City’), Community or Third-party organizations (‘Event Organizers’) authorized by the City.  

Event Security Guard Services for Special Events will be on as requested basis throughout the effective period of the Contract. There is no guarantee as to the amount of the security company’s Security Event Guard services which may be required under the terms of the Contract.

Special events occurring on City owned properties, include, but not limited to; entertainment concerts, festival/fairs, sporting events, food festivals and cultural festivals hosted at, but not limited to; open air parks, sport fields, fenced event spaces, parking lots with capacities ranging from 1000 to over 10000.
